Introduction

Divaricate Saposhnikovia, also known as: mountain celery lai, white hair grass.  Herbs perennial, 30~80 cm tall, glabrous.  Roots stout, stem base densely brown fibrous petiole residues.  Stems solitary, 2-branched.  Basal leaves triangular-ovate, 7 -- 19 cm long, 2 -- 3 pinnate divisions, eventually lobes striate to lanceolate, entire;  Petiole 2 -- 6.5 cm long;  Terminal leaves simplified, with extended leaf sheaths.  Compound umbel, terminal;  Pedicels 5 to 9, unequal;  

Functions
